The Tao Te Ching says that when we have poor political leaders there is horse shit everywhere. Remember that when the Tao Te Ching was written the choice military weapon was the horse.

So in our modern context, horse shit everywhere refers to the many lethal military weapons and WMD's - weapons of mass-destruction everywhere that we use each day to harm each other for whatever convenient reason we can conjure up to justify our selfish silly actions. Which also can refer to such things as propaganda and social media to demonize others to ease our collective conscience so that we can get a good nights sleep despite the truth.

And this is a profound sign that our modern day political leaders are of such poor quality because they are unable to, or that they callously refuse to avoid costly wars at all cost ... and therefore it is we, the innocent people of the world who must therefore suffer.

You can be certain that it is not our political leaders' family members who are sent to the front line. There are better ways to solve our differences than the convenient military ways.

Let's make our golf a powerful WMF - Weapon of Mass-Friendship-creator, by bringing us together so that no matter where we may go in the world, we can be confident that we can find a friendly face with love in his or her heart, who will gladly take time out of their day to have a round of golf with us and share a cool drink afterwards ... now that would be a wonderful golfing experience for each of us ... do you agree?

So hopefully, over time our precious golf can be the critical catalyst for ending military conflicts and giving all of us a better more caring golfing world to share with each other ...
